The purpose of this guide is to assist insideLM application team developers with the on-boarding process to get a development environment virtual machine up and running.

The guide is fairly comprehensive with respect to the tools necessary and configuration steps required; however it does assume some familiarity with Linux command, command line shell tools, and the software configuration management tool Git.
